Appropriate Reactions

Do you hoot and scream for joy when Canada gets a gold in the Olympics. Do you stand up and high five your friends and hug the closest stranger?

Or do you cry and tear at your hair when you break a fingernail?

There are appropriate degrees of expressivity depending on the scenario. Sometimes it’s perfectly acceptable to cry in public. At a funeral, for instance, or even a wedding. During a movie. But in the lineup of a Subway? Notsomuch.

What about when you find a sale on a mattress? Now, there’s nothing wrong with getting overly excited at beds at 60% off. It can be hard to contain yourself with mattresses as low as $147.

But maybe hold off on the hugs a little – unless they’re the ones you’re buying the bed for.
