Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes is a great new(ish) band out of the California. They are kind of a mix of folk and rock with a little country thrown in, and they are getting the hits. You would probably recognize Home and 40-Day Dream if you were to hear them on the radio (most like the Peak 100.5 FM – where they get a ton of airplay in Vancouver).

At Mattress Choice, we like them because they sing about dreams.

How could you not love these lyrics?

I been sleepin for 60- days and

Nobody better pinch me

Cause I swear I’ll go crazy

She got jumper cable lips

She got sunset on her breath now

I inhaled just a little bit

Now I got no fear of death now

Just the idea of a 40-day dream. Doesn’t that sound nice? I’m guessing they slept on Beautyrests if the dreams were that good.
