The alarm clock is blaring top forty, the birds are chirping outside and daylight is pouring into the bedroom, but still the Sedin’s remain asleep…
We have heard of our customers enjoying their rest, but this is ridiculous. Two rounds deep, thirteen games played and still the Sedins are nowhere to be seen. Sure they make appearances on the ice, Henrik argues calls with the referees and they are both getting extra minutes on the power play, but where is the heart, the passion or the beautiful playmaking that we witnessed in the regular season.
The next round will feature the San Jose Sharks and if the Canucks are looking to advance to the finals, the Sedins will have to make their presence felt. They can’t be pushed off any more pucks and they will have to reinvent that magical chemistry we have been admiring for the last ten years.
We’ve never heard of a mattress being too comfortable, but apparently the twins have found two.
Wake up boys! This is it! Playoff hockey! Time to rise and SHINE!
