This Friday, two people will join hands and vow never to leave each other’s side. They will look into each others eyes and see love and a new life ahead of them. They will be watched by their closest friends and family – and two billion people around the world.
On April 29th, Prince William of Wales will marry Kate Middleton. The royal wedding will officially begin with Kate Middleton’s arrival at Westminster Abbey at 11 AM. She will walk from the Rolls Royce that will carry her and her father, into the nave of the church through the massive wooden doors and gothic archway. She will then proceed to walk past the invited guests who will be seated in the larger mass section of the church. Eventually she will reach the choir screen that separates the family and close friends from the rest of the invitees. This will be the moment that Prince William first sees his bride.
For us at home, the fairy tale ceremony will begin at 1am. It will be covered on the Global Network, an appropriate station name. The pregame show will begin at 12.
So rest up West Coasters, because Friday night will be a late one.
