Question: Do you think Prince Charles will ever be King?
Probably not. He is the next in line, but is he really the right man for the job? If keen judgment is a necessary skill, then he certainly shouldn’t be rewarded with the title. Choosing Camilla over Diana? Really? Maybe if average polo skill is a prerequisite he should be considered, but we’re pretty sure it isn’t. Or if it was a contest of ear size, then Charles should be handed the crown without question. Unfortunately for the Prince, his ear size only makes him look a little freakish. It is definitely not a ticket to the crown.
The title, as most of us already have guessed, will most certainly pass to Charles’ first son, William. With his upcoming marriage to Kate Middleton and his current work as a flight lieutenant for the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue crew, William is turning into quite the young man. He is showing the poise and maturity needed to be a competent ruler and so far, he has avoided any major scandal. Sounds like a solid choice to us.
But can you blame Charles for dreaming of a kingship? No. Anyone with a little bit of ambition would love that title.
Imagine… king for a day. What would you do?
Dare to dream on a mattress worthy of royalty. Fall asleep on a Victoria king-sized bed and you are halfway to Buckingham Palace. I’m sure that’s what Charles tells himself.
