Does anything compare to that feeling of absolute comfort that comes from a new mattress?
Newly washed towels? Sure, the first few days are like being wrapped in soft billowy cotton, but on the morning of day four, there’s not much separating them from your bath mat.
What about those red Olympic mitts that we all fell in love with last February? Soft -yes. Practical – absolutely not.
What about the feeling of organized satisfaction that comes from a new wallet? It only takes about six months for it conform to your back pocket. Till then it looks and feels like a giant cardboard ass-pad.
Maybe a pair of Ugh! boots? Can’t say any of us at Mattress Choice own a pair, but word is they feel like walking on baby seals. But who wants to wear fur in the summer. Not Pamela, that’s for sure.
